The Summer Art Camp is an outreach program of the Pahrump Arts Council that offers classes taught by local artists who teach a variety of arts and crafts skills to elementary school children. Past student projects have included working with art clay, drawing, watercolor painting, jewelry making and duct tape flower construction.
It gives children a chance to meet working artists, learn new techniques, make functional art and gain new skills in making arts and crafts.
