• Nominations for board members are now being accepted by the board. If you or someone you know is interested in serving PAC, please contact us immediately for a nomination form.

 

• A PAC Scholarship is being offered to a graduating senior at Pahrump High School. If you know a local student who intends to pursue a career in the arts, whether it will be in Music, Theatre, Film, Photography, Art or Dance, please direct them to the scholarship application found at http://goo.gl/yWxYX. The deadline is March 30, 2013

 

•  Summer Art Program is going to be held in partnership with Nye Communities Coalition and the Pahrump Valley Youth Association. Volunteers are needed to teach such things as watercolor, acrylic, quilting, photography, singing, sculpture, etc. There will be several sessions throughout the summer. Please let the board know if you will be able to volunteer for any of these sessions.

 

•  A juried art show is possibly in the works by the League of Women Voters. PAC members would be invited to judge this event. Let us know if you are interested in being a judge.

 

• CASA’s annual Mardi Gras will be held February 9 at Mountain Falls, this year honoring the Nevada Silver Tappers, a patron of PAC.
