The Pahrump Art Gallery is located next to the Pahrump Community Library at 601 East Street and shares space with the Library’s used bookstore, Chapter Two, offering our community the opportunity to view and purchase the artwork of PAC members. It’s an excellent place to find unique items for yourself or as gifts, in all sizes, media, and price ranges – and to find inexpensive books in good condition! The Gallery is a joint venture between the library and PAC.
In addition to wall and floor space, the Gallery has glass display cases for showing and selling three dimensional work, such as beadwork and woodcraft. Each contributing artist rents Gallery display space for a nominal fee. Stop by often as the shows rotate regularly.
Every three months, the gallery features the work of a PAC artist in a special display. Each show is kicked off with a reception for the featured artist. The public is invited to attend, meet the artist, exchange ideas, and enjoy refreshments.
On the first Wednesday of every month, at 1:00 p.m. artists and those interested in the arts, gather as “birds of a feather” to talk art and show their work. For more information, call Lloyd, 775-537-0345 or Princy, 775-537-7958.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
