The Keeper of Wheeler Well project work continues with monthly meetings of the KWW group, usually on the 3rd Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the PAC office, 2340 E Calvada Blvd, Ste. B.

All members and friends are encouraged to attend to sit in on the updates. We have enlisted the assistance of the Nevada Department of Forestry for professional guidance in identifying plants for the new guide. Adria DeCorte will review our current list and photographs to assure accuracy.

Dick Senior, the Keeper, has taken extensive photographs of the flora on the west side of the mountains. From the photograph collection, Adria will prepare a list for our use. From there, research will continue to find appropriate photographs for the guide and descriptions for each plant will be written. We are fortunate to have Adria add her professional expertise to the project.

Asya Ivanova is working on the storyline for the picture book, with Laurie McCaslin providing the artwork. Muriel Areno, our graphic artist, will bring this all together in a cohesive form!
