Film Festival
The High Desert Shorts International Film Festival is held each spring in Pahrump, Nevada, hosted by the Pahrump Arts Council. The 2013 festival begins on Thursday, May 23, with Wine, Hors d’oeuvres, Cash Bar, World Music Concert and Juried Art Exhibit and Competition from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Sanders Family Winery
Friday, May 24 the Film Festival begins at the Pahrump Nugget.
Press event: Noon on Saturday, May 25.
Awards Ceremony: 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26.
Party immediately following Awards Ceremony.
The festival screens and judges shorts in five categories:
- Drama
- Comedy
- Horror/SciFi
- Animation
- Mixed Bag
